EveryoneOn Individual FAQs

IMPORTANT NOTICE EveryoneOn Individual Subscribers only:

Sprint is currently scheduled to permanently discontinue its WiMAX service on March 31, 2016. Once WiMAX is discontinued, your subscribers’ CLEAR devices will no longer work and they will not be able to access the Internet.

Following EveryoneOns recent announcement on January 20th that they will not provide Mobile Beacon’s LTE service to their existing subscribers.

What options do I have for alternative Internet access so I am not left without service after March 31, 2016?

You have two options:

  • You can access your active account though our new non-profit partner, PCs for People, by typing in your device’s MAC ID number and follow the instructions here: pcsforpeople.org/sprint

  • Or, you can review other Internet offers from different Internet service providers through EveryoneOn. Please visit http://everyoneon.org/transition-offer or text ‘Connect’ to 215-45 to start the process. There, you can enter your ZIP code and find other Internet offers available. You can also contact one of our Customer Service Specialists by emailing [email protected].

I would like to stay with Mobile Beacon, is there anything I can do to keep my service and transition to LTE?

Yes. You can sign up for Mobile Beacon’s LTE service with our new nonprofit enrollment partner, PCs for People. Just enter the MAC Address of your device, pick a service plan option, register and checkout. We’ll ship you a FREE Netgear Fuse LTE mobile hotspot.

I never heard of PCs for People. What are they?

PCs for People is a non-profit organization with a long-standing track record of making significant strides in their community to close the digital divide. Their mission is to create new opportunities by providing affordable personal computers, computer repairs, and internet service to Americans with limited technological experience due to social, physical, or economic circumstances. You can see the various low-cost Internet options from them here

Will my new LTE service plan be different that what I have now?

Sprint is providing Mobile Beacon’s users with an unlimited 4G LTE data-only plan subject to Sprint’s network management policy for its own retail customers.* Average estimated download speeds are between 12-40 Mbps. And this service is provided with no data caps, overage charges, or throttling.

What are my available service plan terms and prices through PCs for People?

  • 3 Months for $40 (Note: this plan is not eligible for the free LTE device)
  • 6 months for $75
  • 12 months for $120

What LTE devices are available and how much do they cost?

Mobile Beacon has created a Convert & Connect device donation program exclusively for our active customers and subscribers. Through this program, as a current, active WiMAX subscriber, you will be eligible to receive a FREE LTE mobile hotspot (valued at  $85) with the purchase of a six-month service plan or longer through our new enrollment partner, PCs for People.

We also have other LTE mobile hotspot options available (starting at $95.00), as well as a LTE Ethernet modem ($220.00).

Is there technical support for these new devices?>

Mobile Beacon has a specialized team at Sprint that will handle your inquiries 24/7. Please contact their Advanced Tech Support phone number at 1-877-236-8008.

After I transition to LTE, what should I do with my Clear WiMAX device?>

You will not need to return their current device. We encourage you to discard them responsibly and e-recycle at a local facility.

As part of Sprint’s corporate responsibility program, Sprint’s Good Works strives to minimize the impact their business has on our environment.

Since resources and regulation for e-waste recycling differ from state to state, Sprint has compiled a recycling resource list by State here.
